Autumn 2024
Removal, replacement and reinstall of a V12 MTU engine and alternator requiring transport from Manchester to Hospital site in South England.
April our team on site with TEDOM to install two CHP units within a landfill site. We organised all logistics required, moved and installed all essential equipment onto the top of the unit.
Each and every one of our jobs is approaced with care and caution, clear understanding and precision expertise to ensure the project is completed smoothly. Here we have two aftercooler repairs and a drive coupling repalcement on an MTU requiring careful planning in limited access areas. We use specialist equipment to move machines and have many decades of experience in this area.
One of our last projects of 2024, working with Tedom UK we completed the removal of two redundant kerosene steam boilers and all associated pipework, chimney flue sections, and then installed a new 530 CHP generator, which is the first in the country. This will produce electricity and heat through heat exchangers.
Following a tender to a major London trading bank PME have been awarded a contract to carry the removal of an entire standby generator system replacing with a larger unit in a well known area of the North East of England.
We have covered various Council offices around the country, assisting them in getting power through means of CHP's in their buildings.
In addition to our staff holding CSCS training this has been enhanced by all of our staff attending and completing the IOSH training course, the management have attended the IOSH course for managers.
This is another step in ensuring we supply a safe and efficient service.
